Tesla launched a new version of Model 3 in China
Elon Musk's electric car maker TESLA has launched a new version of its Model 3 car made in China. Through this, Tesla is going to unveil a car in China for the first time before the United States. The company said that the new Model 3 vehicle is capable of traveling longer distances than before. News Reuters.
China is the world's largest car market and the second largest market for Tesla after the US. The new Model 3 is being built at the Shanghai factory, which will cost buyers 12 percent more than the previous version.
At the same time, Tesla cut the prices of its premium Model S and Model X cars in China and the US by about 14 and 21 percent, respectively. The Model 3 car will be exported from China to other countries in the Middle East and Asia.
The updated version of the Model 3 was the first change to Tesla's mass-market vehicle lineup since the launch of the world's best-selling Model Y in 2020.
Tesla has yet to announce the launch of the car in the US market.
